Less than 17 hours - or about five plot twists into 24 - after I thought I would not see her again until the Two Month Reunion, I see Fake Brunette as I was leaving the gym and she was arriving to eat some L & L.
I just can't seem to get away from these people.

Bar Blogging
Roonie asked, "Will you spearhead the 2006 bar exam blogging madness after graduation, or will you let this blog fade into oblivion?"
Well I'm quite certain that this blog doesn't have the influence to spearhead any sort of madness but I'll be blogging away anyway keeping my bar posts on a separate page from whatever this blog has become about. And if anyone studying for the bar would like to contribute any posts about it, then email me at wsoller at swlaw dot edu. I don't care if you already have a blog or if you've never had a blog before. I don't care which bar you're studying for or if it's your first time taking it or not. Misery loves company and really, isn't it better to read multiple perspectives whining about studying for the bar rather than just reading about it from only mine? So please join me in sharing your experiences in studying for the bar.
And do spread the word about it because this blog needs all the help it can get in spearheading.

Quote This
"I have a high opinion of lawyers. With all their faults, they stack up well against those in every other occupation or profession. They are better to work with or play with or fight with or drink with than most other varieties of mankind." - Harrison Tweed (quoted at graduation)
So That's How The Hood Goes On
Brandy called it expectedly anticlimactic. It's probably because getting our bar result is the expected climactic event for most of us.
Hardly anything specific was memorable about today's event at the Shrine. Thanks to Brian, most of the time during the ceremony itself was spent pondering whose famous ass may have once occupied my seat. He said his felt like it had Scarlett Johansson's, which meant that with my luck the most famous person whose seat I had was the guy schtooping Scarlett Johansson - I guess I should be honored.
Not a day to remember about specifics, I think what I'll take away from it are things in general, like the long wait; laughing beforehand; not recognizing a lot of the names called; and just seeing people for the last time unless I bump into them in Ontario for the two month reunion.
