Personally, I think he is wrong. I shelled out the money and went to a boot camp and ended up top 10 at my school. The program doesn't necessarily teach you all you need to know. It teaches you how to manage your schedule and deal with the rigors of law school. It gets you into the mind frame of studying hard. They also give you a lot of homework and case reading, so walking into 1L was a breeze compared to the program. I also think the program can show those who aren't ready for law school that they won't like it, so they can save a lot of money by not going to law school.
