And why not add the last two years of law school as well.

Unfortunately each state have their own little rules and such, so a standardized state bar exam does make sense. I wish, however, the emphasis should be on the MBE and less on the actual state exam. When this happens it would be an indication of national mobility for lawyers. (Those lucky Med Students).
