Some of these things are kind of basics for living -- I'd be worried if I were dating a guy who didn't realize he should have light in the bedroom, a couch, or decent underwear. I would love to see Joy of Cooking on his shelf. But $150+ jeans and $200+ dress shoes -- essential for single men? Not every guy has to be a metrosexual. (Besides, a guy with $300 shoes would be more likely to end up with an equally high-maintenance woman.)
Which would explain Brian and Angela. Ha!
I'm kidding you two. Unless you actually have a pair of $300 shoes Brian, in which case chickenmagazine is completely dead-on. Which is not to imply that Angela is a high-maintenance woman. That's an inference I leave for others to draw completely on their own.
Geez. That list disgusts me. And perpetuates stereotypical women. How about an iBook? How about a passport? How about a kickass CD collection? Blech. MSN needs to get some depth.
