Tips For Tessa

Cold dough,
Make sure your cookie dough is cold before placing it in the oven.
More on the dough,
If the dough is still too soft, stir in 1 to 2-tablespoons of flour. Also, do not over-soften the butter before making the dough.
Cool cookie sheets,
A baking sheet should be either cool or at room temperature when the cookie dough is placed on it; otherwise, the dough will start to melt, adversely affecting the cookies' shape and texture.
No excuse for baking crappy cookies anymore.
