After a long and hard fought battle with the administration, SWLAW students won the privilege to have a student give a graduation speech. So what was the response of the first graduation class at SWLAW to ever have a graduation student speaker? Well the administration had to extend the deadline for those applying to be the student speaker because of lack of interest.
But in the end, Mr. Brad Simon stepped up and volunteered, saving the past efforts from invalidation. When asked about it before going through the "selection" process he referenced this speech.
