Come And Stalk Me

There will be a Wayne Soller sighting here sometime between 8 and 10 tonight.

Took The Easy Way Out

Dropped Election Law yesterday.

Stat Of The Day

My casting couch Auditions are open only to women.

Check This Out

My cousin's mad looking baby at two months old. Seriously, the kid looks like she's coming at you with malicious intent. I gave her a 7. Try to be as kind as I was.

Filing Away For Future Reference

Passing Bar Exams: Formulas for Success. It's less than two years away for me. And it's been said that California Rules of Evidence is going to be on the Bar the year after I take it. So I better pass the first time.

Not Just Saying It Because I'm A Bruin

This is the right decision.

First Week Of Classes Over

I'm already behind in the readings, bored with class discussions, and really tired.

No Thanks To Me

Soupie has got the brackets up. I was asked to be on the seeding committee but was too busy. Anyway, let the debates begin and be sure to show your support for your favorites.

Rescheduling

I'm either dropping Election Law or White Collar Crime.

Round 1: Meeting times
Election Law is my last class on Mondays and Thursdays ending at 5:30.
White Collar is Wednesday nights 6-9.
10-10 Draw.

Round 2: Work load
Election Law requires 3-4 writing assingments with citations.
White Collar requires 2 oral presentations.
10-9 White Collar.

Round 3: Professors
Prof. Election Law will mark you absent if you leave the room for any reason during a 1 1/2 hour class.
Prof. White Collar will hold the class past 9 for time equaling that of people returning past the alloted time for the break.
10-9 White Collar

Round 4: Subject matter interest
10-8 Election Law.

Final tally: 38 White Collar - 38 Election Law

In other words, I have no idea what to do but to sleep on it.

Last Post Of The Day

Now that Judge Posner is blogging, I wonder if he'll take the time to comment on and answer this perplexing question.

Which One(s) Are You?

Mr. Blachman has a list, up. To get the ball rolling, I've been accused of being #8. I'm also or have been #24, #32 - thanks Ellisen, #36 - thanks Tracy, #52 - sometimes even earlier, #62, #74, #79 and #80 - thanks Prof. Torts. Yeah, I'm an overachiever.

I'm So Over The West Wing Now

The first two seasons were so great that I've held out hope that it would someday return as one of the top quality shows on network tv but this has dashed all hope away.

A Madness Of A Different Sort

This is much better than Lehigh v. Florida A&M.

Now That Bunny Ain't Around...

Who is going to give Brian a hard time about Rose - other than myself of course?

His Very First Class At SW

And he's introduced to the attendance sheet. Classic reaction of disbelief ensued. At least we're not the only ones with an attendance policy.

Now That Sean Ain't Around...

Who will go with me to that taco stand at the corner?

Now That Sean Ain't Around...

Who will pass gas with Brian in the car as I hang my head outside the window?

I Didn't Think It Was Possible But It Is

They do work you harder during your second year of law school.

I Am Bored So I'm Blogging A Pic

It looks like being out of law school is treating Sean just fine. Lucky bastard.

Now That Bunny Ain't Around...

Who will answer the Prof.'s question when I pass?

Quote This

"I thought you only did white." - Vanessa

Now That Rita Ain't Around...

To whom am I going to direct the question, "What's wrong with you?"

First Day Of Classes

And I'm already blogging from my Election Law class. I'm going to be placed on AP after this semester.

UPDATE: It took all of 30 minutes before I was playing Spider Solitaire and chess on my laptop in Evidence, my very first class of the year. More circumstantial evidence that I'm not going to do well this semester.

UPDATE: There are 3-4 writing assignments in Election Law amounting to 50% of my final grade. I'm considering dropping.

UPDATE: Prof. Election Law doesn't allow breaks during class. Must remain seated for 1 1/2 hours. Still considering dropping.

UPDATE: Prof. just mentioned Hansen's Election Law Blawg. Considering staying.

Shortcutting It Already

So I'm supposed to read the Constitution for Con Law tomorrow. Instead, I've gone here and have copied and pasted it to a Word doc. C+ here I come.

Just Another Cheap Whore Here

I am worth exactly $1,641,044.00.

Find out how much you're worth here.

Shhhhhh

He speaks. And whaddaya know his first post - after his introduction - is about his favorite movie. See... brilliant legal minds aren't that different from... you and you.

So Sad

I still read the notes and questions. I've become such a nerd... or... still am a nerd. Halfway done for tomorrow's reading only Evidence and Election Law left.

My 1,001 Post

Completely missed out on the big milestone with the last post. I had balloons and everything, much like Brian's last birthday.

By the way, can someone remind the date of Brian's birthday?

Better Than Horoscopes

Sloth
You are Sloth!
Lazy huh ?? You're a bit slow in getting going - and tend not to do anything unless it is absolutely necessary. You'd rather sit around, watch TV/Sleep then go out and about with friends, or take part in a sporting event. On the positive side, you tend to be quite smart, as you spend a lot of time watching the News(!!) or on the computer. Also by conserving your energy, it's right there waiting for you when it's vitally important to get going. Consider possibly moving out of the room once in a while - and perhaps once a week trade watching TV for half an hour with a walk - and you'll be back on track.

However, Congratulations on being the most
intelligent of the 7 deadly sins...

Vote For Your Olympic Babe Of The Week

Here. How Jennie Finch made it onto that list but not Amanda Freed is beyond me. At least another former Bruin made the list.
